Personality:
Nymphadora is a charismatic young woman, though there are times where she can be reserved and closed off. She isn't very openly emotional or affectionate towards people as she has a tendency to downplay and hide her feelings. Her smile is never truly genuine as she puts on a mask for everyone and anyone, though it is unknown as to why she keeps everyone at a distance. She is a hard worker and has little to no tolerance for those who cut corners to earn what they desire, though she herself is rather hasty as she works at a rapid pace, wishing to get as much done as possible in a short amount of time. There are times where she'll let down her walls a little, though it all depends on how tired she is after a long day of work. She will shut down if she feels that she let slip too much about herself, however. Nymphadora, beneath all the secrets, is a sweet young woman who cares deeply for the rare few who are willing to stick around long enough for her to open up to them.

History:
Nymphadora Rose, the firstborn of the Beaulieu family, was born and raised in Snowbelle City of the Kalos Region. She came from a rather wealthy and privileged family, though her life was anything but perfect. The perfect image that the Beaulieus tried to maintain was deeply flawed as the head of the family, her father, had always been very abusive. Her father spoke in raised tones to intimidate his wife and children, though Nymphadora always tried to stand up to him. It never worked. As such, she was forced to grow up far too quickly so that she could help her mother take care of her younger brothers, as well as protect them from her father's wrath. It was, by no means, a happy life for her.

As she was forced to take on a prominent role in her younger brothers' lives, she put her family over everything else. She would go to school, attend all of her classes, do what was necessary for her to get through school successfully. It became a routine of sorts for her to go through, and she started to push away everyone that she knew. Students would whisper whenever they caught sight of the Rose girl walking through the hallways, though Nymphadora ignored it all, too focused on trying to become someone responsible, someone that her mother and brothers could depend on.

Her father walked out on the family when she was eighteen, though that was fine. That meant that her mother had a chance at being happy, that her brothers were safe. Nymphadora and her brothers chose to take their mother's surname, Rose, rather than keeping their father's surname, Beaulieu. They wanted nothing to do with the man that had caused their mother so much pain. The Roses took a while to recover from the lasting impression that Tobias Beaulieu had left on them, and Nymphadora was so wrapped up in her family that she couldn't quite see a life for herself that was separate from them. She started taking on odd jobs shortly after she graduated from school, and mother and daughter tried their best to provide for the family.

Nymphadora eventually signed up for a competition of sorts in the hopes that she could send the prize money to her family. What she was unprepared for was the consequences that came from participating in such a competition. She came out of the competition a changed person, and from then on, she refused to battle ever again. All of the prize money that she received went towards her family. Her life started to spiral as Nymphadora retreated into herself, though her mother told her of Ivywood one day. Her mother pleaded with her, telling her that it was time that she started making a life for herself, a life that didn't revolve solely around just the family. It was with much reluctance that she moved to Ivywood, though she was very grateful to her mother for having pushed her to do so. Nymphadora came to Ivywood as a model, though she applied for a position as detective, having decided that it was time that she make her mark on the world.

Additional Information:
• Nym wears glasses while at home. She doesn't wear them often, as they are only needed during the night if she needs to read or wishes to watch a movie.
• Briar Rose has a special place in Nym's heart, for the detective has a soft spot for baby Pokémon.
• Nym has two younger brothers, Nicholas and Cornelius. Nicholas is seventeen, while Cornelius is fourteen.
• The Roses are a very musical family. Her mother, Anna, plays the flute while Nicholas plays the bass clarinet, and Cornelius plays the French horn. Nym plays the piano, though it has been quite some time since she last played.
• She is perpetually exhausted, though thanks to make-up and coffee, she could pass for a functioning member of society.
• As much as she'd love to visit her mother and brothers, they live all the way in Snowbelle City of the Kalos Region, so she tries to make up for it by calling them and sending gifts as often as she can.
• Battling with her Pokémon team isn't something that she does often since it brings up traumatizing memories of her journey through Kalos.
• Nym used to be a Model, though she changed occupations because of many personal reasons.
• Her hair used to reach down to about her knees. She decided to cut it so that it now falls to about mid-thigh.
• There are times where she might have lazy days and stay at home. She might take the time to sleep in, spend time with her Pokémon, or maybe just read.
• Her father's name was Tobias Beaulieu, and her mother's name is Anna Rose. As far as she knows, he's living somewhere in Kalos, though as long as he stays away from her mother and brothers, she could care less about what he does.
• Nymphadora has been a city girl her entire life. As such, she has a polished way of speaking, with her words coming across as very formal and sometimes clipped.
*• Smol crush? I lied. Nymphadora has a huge crush on Tony, though she's going to take her sweet time figuring it out because she's oblivious like that. Honestly, though, she should maybe think about confessing maybe I don't know to be quite honest.
